Descriptif de l'activité
:
During the stay, the group will be able to discover life on a farm by observing the organic meadows, the life and way of feeding young calves… The farm has a specific programme in connection with the wood road: Monday, animals of the forest and use of wood in the centre; Tuesday: calculations applied in the world of wood; Wednesday: the most widespread tree species in Wallonia; Thursday: use of wood on the farm and in wood-based industries; Friday: the forest warden guides us through the forest. The activities are adapted according to the beat periods and depending on the season. Open house on the weekend of 12 and 13 November 2005.

The farm organises stays with full board for a group of 20 people (adults and/or children). 3 themes: the forest (discovery of the rural region), the farm (40 hectares of organic agriculture), the animal park (stag, doe, wild boar…) |

Workshops are organised (strolls in forests to discover the various species of woods, the life of the fir, from plantation to felling, and on to the sawmill; the animals of the forest: in season, the stag’s mating call, etc.). |
